Four years ago I had ACL Reconstruction. I play soccer 3 times a week, and slightly sprained the same knee 2 months ago. I resumed playing 4 weeks later, with no pain or swelling, but a few times throughout each game my knee joint would "pop" in and out of place. Because it didn't hurt and I was lifting weights 2x a wk, I didn't stop playing. 4 days ago, at the end of a game, I severly sprained my MCL. Are these injuries related? The pain has subsided, however the swelling is preventing my walking "normally" How can I best recover from this injury as quickly as possible? When can I start range of motion exercises, etc?
