I checked out the following link - http://www.idf.org/voice-box?language=en - from the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). Despite not being a professional - I have followed IDF since 2007 when I attended one of their conferences.

I know many diabetics - mainly Type 2's that seem to favour this method of eating for their control of their diabetes - eating no more than 30 grams of carbs a day.

So, check out what's been said so far - and maybe add your own lay man terms as to how low carb eating has affected your control!
