    Hi there,

Been offline for a while....Trying to get back into the swing.  I did not make it to the Expo this year....How was it?

    Richard,

Having Diabetes teaches you about acceptance and learning to embrace and take responsibility.  For bad stuff too.

If you continue to feel this way, you are giving into

it and are becoming a "victim".  Tough love is necessary because you have to live with this condition.  I have had it for 37 years - type 1.  I'm on the pump too.  Yes, it is not what I want, but I have no choice.    Talking to a therapist will help lessen sadness, anger.  I have found
    that to be true.

It is great that your wife cares for you and your diabetes.  Recognize that.  Be well.

Hey there! Welcome. I think I've gotten past the wishing it would all go away and then, poof, it all comes back so yeah, I can empathize with you. I'm glad you're here though. Did you go to the Expo? Looking forward to hearing more from you!
