Diabetes is a group of metabolic illnesses in which a person faces high blood sugar levels either because the body develops insufficient insulin or the body cells do not respond well to the insulin developed by the body. Diabetes patient often faces frequent urination (especially at the night), being really thirsty, losing weight, blurred vision, and increased hunger.

Different Types of Diabetes

Type 1 Diabetes

In this type, the body does not develop sufficient insulin. The condition normally starts in person who is under 40 years of age and often produces during the young age. Patient with type1 diabetes should take injections of insulin for the rest of their life. Also, they must ensure proper blood sugar levels by doing regular blood tests and following a proper healthy diet.

Type 2 Diabetes

Type2 diabetes caused by a dual defect of insulin resistance combined with an incapability to produce sufficient insulin to defeat the resistance. In this type, the body does not develop sufficient insulin or the body cells display insulin resistance. Some people handle their symptoms of type2 diabetes by losing their weight, following a healthy diet, carrying out plenty of exercise and observing their blood sugar levels. However, this type of diabetes is usually a progressive disease – it gradually gets worse – and the patient will most likely end up having to take the insulin, generally in the form of a tablet.

Obesity, physically inactive Being and consuming the improper diet all contribute to our risk of increasing type 2 diabetes. The risk of increasing Type 2 diabetes also increases with age.

Gestational Diabetes

Gestational diabetes diagnosed females during their pregnancy. Some females have high glucose levels in their blood, and their bodies are not able to develop sufficient insulin to transfer all of the sugar into their cells, ensuring in progressively increasing sugar level. The patient of gestational diabetes can manage their diabetes with regular exercise and a diet.

The Causes of Diabetes

Inadequate development of insulin (either totally or relative to the body’s wants), development of defective insulin (which is unusual), or the incapability of cells to use insulin properly and well caused hyperglycemia and diabetes.

  • This final condition involves mostly the muscle cells and fat tissues, and results in a form known as insulin resistance. This is the main problem in type 2 diabetes.
  • The complete deficiency of insulin, generally secondary to a negative procedure affecting the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas, is the primary issue in type 1 diabetes.

In type 2 diabetic issues, there also is a firm decline of beta cells that includes to the procedure of high blood sugars. Basically, if someone is resistant to blood insulin, the body can, to some degree, enhance production of blood insulin and defeat the level of resistance. After time, if production reduces, and blood insulin cannot be released as energetically, hyperglycemia produces.

Symptoms of Diabetes

The symptoms of diabetic issues occur because some or all of the sugar remains in the blood and isn’t being utilized as fuel for energy. Our body effort to decrease sugar levels by flushing the extra glucose out of the body in the urine.

The common symptoms of diabetes contain:

  • Increased frequency of urination
  • Being really hungry
  • Feeling tired
  • Weight losing
  • Genital itching or thrush
  • Blurred vision
  • Take longer time of cuts and wounds to heal
