Edible flowers have natural antioxidants, cholesterol free, and calorie free. It is best to eat edible flowers raw to receive the full health benefits I think diabetes should try a edible flower or start growing their own organically.

  • edible flowers

     by Vivian Escaravage-Perez

Have you ever eaten a edible flower? A pansy tastes like mint and a nasturtium is spicy. These two edible flowers have great health benefits for diabetics. Eating edible flowers is good for the heart and stabilizing the blood sugar levels. Edible flowers have their own individual tastes and health benefits, Here is a few of  the edible flowers: marigold, pansies, nasturtiums, violets, and rugosa roses. There are restaurants that serve raw edible flower salads. I had a edible flower salad and believe me I didn't want to eat a regular salad again. The edible flowers were so good and the pansies had a strong minty flavor. Nasturtiums are good for the heart valve and the blood flow.
