  • Clinical Trial on Dawn Phenomenon

I am currently researching dawn phenomenon.  I came across an active clinical trial currently recruiting participants.  It is sponsored by Sanofi and is comparing NPH versus Lantus.  It is taking place at Mass General Hospital in Boston if anyone is interested.

    http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT00694122

The only other trial I've come across so far was done in 1990 and was NOT sponsored by a pharmaceutical company.  The study was done with only Regular insulin.  I am cautious about the motives for the new study ... I think they are trying to prove Lantus is better than NPH though from personal experience, I'm sure I have a much different opinion.
