I'm on a pump and really for an expensive experiment and opportunity to try and lose 30 pounds, I enrolled in Slimgenics, a weight loss program. I'm experiencing high blood sugars due to the heavy protein and snacks and wondered if anyone else has done this kind of program with advice.

Hey there! I'm in the same boat as you - trying to lose about 30 pounds - but it's so difficult - especially when it comes to eating less / "trying" to exercise more (I'm really bad for that). Then it's altering how much insulin we take.
How expensive is it for this kind of diet? I guess you have to purchase the food online or something like that.
I guess my next question would be - have you talked to your doctor about this - or a dietician. Sometimes that can be a cheaper root to go. I know that I've heard also some great weight loss reports with Weight Watchers.
Oh - I'm on the pump as well (found I put on weight since going onto the pump) - before with MDI - because I guess my blood sugars ran abit higher I didn't seem to have a problem with weight.
Hope to hear back from you! Maybe we can try to do something together to motivate each other (I need LOTS).
