I'm Back

By: Diabetic_Iz_Me

I was diagnosed with Type 1.5/LADA in June of 2004.  The first 3 years of my diabetic life I was on glipizide and metformin.  I switched to insulin in January 2008.  I decided to switch from MDI's (mutiple daily injections) to the Omnipod insulin delievery system.  In May 2008, I started pumping insulin and blogging about diabetes.  I am a featured blogger at DiabetesDaily.com.  I am also very active in the Diabetes Online Community.

I have missed you all! I had a very busy past month. My Husband came home from Iraq last month. I celebrated my 29th birthday in Las Vegas. Besides all of the things I mentioned I still have diabetes and it took me on a nice ride. I experienced a lot of lows. I made a lot few basal changes. I experienced a few highs because I under bolused for a few sweet treats--after all, a girls gotta have her sweets diabetes or not.  My Husband and I are moving to Indianapolis in March. I have applied for a few jobs; I haven't found anything yet. So, that's what I've been up to. Enough about me. What's been going on in your life? How's diabetes been treating you?
