  • New feature on Diabetes1!

Check out our latest feature on the diabetes1.org community site, twitter feeds!  This new feature allows you to follow the latest tweets about diabetes treatment from around the world.  Our new "Latest Tweets" section is conveniently located in our general Community site (http://www.diabetes1.org/Community/) as well as on our Forums (http://www.diabetes1.org/forum/) and blogs (http://www.diabetes1.org/blogs/), allowing you to browse the latest tweets while also checking up on your forum thread or favorite blog.

Though interacting with tweeters requires your own Twitter account (available for free at www.twitter.com), the new "Latest TWEETS" section allows you to see how others are managing their diabetes.  You have the opportunity to see the latest tweets on new products and services provided by various companies as well as personal tweets from diabetics with comments and suggestions about life with diabetes.

This new feature also provides you with a whole new way of gathering information.  Not only will you be privy to more tracks of information, you can also give/receive support between fellow diabetics, presenting you with an opportunity to develop a support group with whom you can exchange valuable information, if not words of wisdom.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to email us at [email protected]

I am very excited about the Twitter feed addition. Until a month ago I did not really believe in twitter however I am starting to get hooked. Uses such as this one are convincing me that twitter is a worthwhile social media tool.
