Mr. Kelly - I was told that you only use this formula involving carbs when the amount of fibre is GREATER then 5g. Anything less, the net carb remains the same. I have followed this advise for many years (diabetic of 41 years). Otherwise, if I take your example in the video - I would be giving less insulin then required - and suffer the consequences of higher BG (I try to keep between 4.0 - 6.5 mmol/l).
