LifeScan OneTouch® InDuo®is a unique device that combines blood glucose monitoring system with the insulin delivery system. In simple words, this two-in-one device allows diabetics to manage their condition in a more accurate manner. You can test your blood glucose level and thereafter decide how much insulin you require to keep your diabetes level under control. In addition to helping you take an informed decision, InDuo® also remembers the amount the insulin taken at the last dosing and the time elapsed since that dosing. Thus, the system takes off the burden of counting and remembering the insulin doses. Furthermore, the blood glucose testing system of the device is less painful; it allows you to test on the forearm where less nerve endings are present as compared to the fingertips. Only 1 µL of blood is required and device generates the result in 5 seconds. Unfortunately, LifeScan OneTouch® InDuo® is no longer sold, but it is definitely a compact and discreet system.
