I tried using a Bayer meter for a while. I found that it gave readings that were way off (if took me a little while to figure out that's what was happening). When I called Bayer to tell them the meter wasn't working and to figure out what was wrong with it or get a new one, they LIED and told me that the FDA required me to send mine back before they could send me a replacement (which would leave me without a meter in the meantime) -- which is patently false. When I got a supervisor, she told me the representatives were trained to say that. So when I realized I had a very inaccurate meter and a dishonest company, I decided never to use Bayer meters again.

I really like this one - I haven't been testing myself as regularly as I used to, which I intend to start back up again today. But this one was defiitely quick and fast, although it was too bulky - the freestyle was more lightweight, but this one was more bulky, but definitely more efficient! I love it - but if they can make it more lightweight and give us a nice carrying case like the freestyle has. Thanks
