Although I already have a great blood glucose monitor at home (, I found that I would forget to put it in my purse or tote when going out. Having to test up to 6 times a day, it was important to always have a BGM on hand. My husband and I decided to go looking for a smaller version I could keep in my purse. We opted for the Roche Accu-Chek Compact. It fits easily in my purse without a lot of bulkiness, and the test time is quite acceptable. The 6 sites available for testing is also a definite plus for this small blood glucose monitor. I'm happy and feel safe having this accurate, easy to use little monitor with me for when we are away from home.
