I tried this meter because it communicated with my insulin pump, which is a very convenient thing. However, whenever I try a new meter, I always do more than one test at the same time to see how reliable the readings are. I found that the OneTouch was not at all reliable; e.g., I once got readings of 275 and 237 at the same time -- well beyond a reasonable margin of error. In addition, when I did concurrent tests with the FreeStyle meter, which I know to be reliable, the OneTouch readings were as much as 20% off. I would have liked to have used the OneTouch for convenience, but not at the expense of accuracy.
