This was yet another good meter that I have tried. It only requires a very small blood sample, and you can also test in alternate sites. Plus, you get instant results, about five seconds or so, and no coding is necessary. The setup is also very simple, the numbers are easy to read, and you feel no pain from the lancing device. The only small con is that the meter is so smooth that it can feel like it is going to fall out of your hand, but that was the only issue I had with it. Overall, it is a good buy.

The FreeStyle Lite is a great little machine for a couple of reasons. The first is that blood can be drawn from more than one site so I wasn't constantly pricking the same couple of fingers which got painful after a while. The other thing I loved about this is that there were no codes required. I hated a different machine I had because I was always losing the coding instructions. The last reason I would recommend using this machine is that it only needs a really small blood sample. The days of milking and massaging a finger to get a huge drop of blood are over.
